What HomeDeli is

HomeDeli is a discovery and messaging platform that connects home cooks with nearby buyers. We are not a food seller, a delivery service, or a payment processor. Payment and delivery/pickup are arranged directly between buyers and cooks, entirely outside the app. HomeDeli is not a party to those transactions and has no visibility into or responsibility for the food itself, payment, or delivery.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use HomeDeli.

Cook accounts

• Cook accounts are created only through an invite link from an existing cook (or a bootstrap code issued by HomeDeli).
• You are solely responsible for complying with all local, state, and national laws and regulations governing the preparation and sale of food from a home kitchen (including any required permits, licenses, or "cottage food" rules) in your jurisdiction. HomeDeli does not inspect, certify, or guarantee the safety of any kitchen or food listed on the platform.
• You're responsible for the accuracy of your menu, pricing, and availability information.

Referral program

When a cook invites another cook who joins using their invite link, the referring cook earns 10% of the referred cook's subscription payments, for as long as the referred cook remains subscribed. Subscriptions are currently free; this program has no monetary value until paid plans are introduced. HomeDeli may adjust, suspend, or end the referral program, or investigate and reverse credits obtained through fraudulent or abusive referral activity, at its discretion.

Subscriptions

Cook subscriptions are currently free. We may introduce paid subscription plans in the future; if we do, we'll provide notice before any charge applies to your account.

Buyer conduct

Buyers agree to use messaging and reviews honestly and respectfully, and to arrange payment and pickup/delivery directly with the cook.

Content you post

You retain ownership of photos, menu descriptions, messages, and reviews you post, but grant HomeDeli a license to display that content within the app to other users as intended by the feature (e.g. your menu is shown to buyers, your reviews are shown on your profile). Don't post content that's illegal, misleading, or infringes someone else's rights.

No liability for user transactions

HomeDeli is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of any food arranged through the app, or for any dispute, payment issue, or harm arising from a transaction between a buyer and a cook. You use the platform, and transact with other users, at your own risk.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, engages in fraud, or creates risk for other users.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

HomeDeli is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, HomeDeli is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the app means you accept the changes.
